# Method of diagnosing 4 year CGPA in National University

National University Honors 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year The method of determining the CGPA of these 4 year results will be discussed here. Here I will show you how to determine the CGPA of National University Honors Exam.

In case of CGPA assessment, the grade points obtained in a particular subject will be multiplied by the credit of that subject and the points earned in this course (EPS) will be determined. One year GPA will be calculated by dividing the total points earned in all subjects in that year by the total earned credit.

Thus the CGPA will be determined by adding the GPA points earned in all the years and adding the TPS points earned together with the total sum divided by the total credit. No credit will be earned for grades below D and it will be considered as F (Fail) Grave. Credits earned will be added to the CGPA calculation if promoted from f grade to higher grade.

To determine a four-year CGPA, you must first find out the points earned each year. Here I will show you how to find out the points earned for 1 year and determine the CGPA for 4 years. How to determine the CGPA of the results of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th of these 4 years of National University

Method of determining the total points earned in one year

Multiply the points obtained in a subject by the credit of that subject. In this way, by multiplying the points of all the subjects with their credits and adding all the multiplication, one can get “Total points earned in one year”.

Example: Subject point × Credit:
A- = 3.50 4 = 14;
B + = 3.25 4 = 13;
A + = 4.00 × 4 = 16;
B + = 3.25 4 = 13;
A- = 3.50 4 = 14;
B + = 3.25 4 = 13;

Thus the total points earned:
14 + 13 + 16 + 13 + 14 + 13 = 83

How to determine 4 year CGPA

Total earned points for four years (1st year + 2nd year + 3rd year + 4th year): Total number of credits earned for the whole course.

Total earned points for four years: Adding the “Total earned points” of all the years one after the other like the first step of determining GPA, you will get the total earned points of four years.

Total accrued credit for the entire course: The sum of the credits of all the subjects passed in the entire course is the total accrued credit for the entire course.

Example: Total points earned in four years: 83 + 85 + 81 + 79 = 328

Total Credits earned throughout the course:
24 + 24 + 26 + 28 = 102

Therefore, the total CGPA: 328 ÷ 102 = 3.21
